Annual Garden Party

Sunday, June 22, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.

Speaker:   Dave Anderson

Topic:  “Maple Sugaring: Romance, Myths and Reality – A Humorous Look at the Amber-Side of Backyard Maple Sugaring”

Naturalist-Educator Dave Anderson is Senior Director of Education for The Society for the Protection of NH Forests.  Anderson is a writer and co-host of the “Something Wild” features on NHPR.  He is also the author of the “Forest Journal” newspaper columns and “Nature’s View” magazine articles.  He is experienced with maple sugaring on the family-owned Certified Tree Farm Meetinghouse Hill Maple in South Sutton.

There will be homemade treats (including syrup samples) and a Garden tour following Dave’s  remarks.

This event will be held under a large tent in the Garden and is  free to the public (donations gratefully accepted).

We hope our 2025 garden party will celebrate and raise awareness of the Garden at Tracy Library’s beauty and value to the residents and visitors in the New London area.

Volunteer Appreciation Event

Monday Morning, Late October 2025

We want to thank our volunteers for the hundreds of hours of knowledge, energy, and hard work that they have given to keep the Garden at Tracy Library a beautiful and inspiring oasis in our community.

We celebrate with them at a special Board-sponsored celebration as the Garden is nearing its closure for the season.   All regular volunteers are welcome.
